Description of the Shield

For ordinance of the Congress of the State it was approved January 18 1945.

Has an escusón triangular footwear in the superior part of the campaign, and it is observed
in the inferior part of the shield, sustained by an eagle bicípite with the extended wings
in whose plumage garlands of roses appear in pale gules, remembering the
denomination of Villa of Roses.

The boss contains thirteen stars in gules on the bottom of gold to symbolize the shacks
built as the population's founders' housing.

The campaign represents a panoramic of the valley in that the burgo was founded, with the skirts of a mountain toward the bottom in blue, the sembradíos in sinople the same thing that the canes of sugar and the corn, the rivers and the sky in blue, the village in silver, the wheat sheaf in gold, the cow in white, as well as the sheep and the goat.
